State-of-the-art treatment

DIAGNOdent Laser Cavity Detection System
DIAGNOdent laser technology allows us to identify cavities early — when they’re still easy to treat. The system specializes in finding the hidden cavities other methods often overlook.

Air Abrasion — An Alternative to the Drill
You’ll enjoy the comfort and quiet of being treated with air abrasion, an alternative for many procedures formerly requiring a drill. A powerful air stream of tiny aluminum oxide particles bounces off your tooth, removing decay. No discomfort, no injections, just results.

Digital X-Rays
Our digital X-ray system ensures you and your family are exposed to less radiation ... and less waiting. Images are available immediately. We’re also able to enhance any special areas of concern for added accuracy in diagnosis.

Preventive Dentistry

Thorough Examinations
We’ll check carefully for tooth decay, cancer, disorders of the jaw and conditions such as tooth grinding ... all with state-of-the-art equipment. We’ll discuss the results with you and, if treatment is needed, work with you to identify the best options.

Cleanings, Fluoride, Sealants
Regular cleanings remove cavity-forming plaque that your toothbrush and floss don’t catch. After carefully cleaning your teeth, we’ll apply a fluoride treatment to protect you against cavities. You can also opt for sealants that literally seal off your tooth from cavities for years at a time.

Restorative Dentistry

Tooth-Colored Fillings
Composite fillings, glass ionomers — we know how to keep your smile bright after treatment of cavities. Each filling is custom-blended to create a shade that complements your natural tooth color. Tooth-colored fillings are especially ideal to preserve the appearance of front teeth.

Porcelain Crowns and Bridges
Porcelain crowns are handsome, durable coverings that protect a tooth’s shape and size after damage or a large filling renders it fragile. Crowns can also cover unsightly teeth or be used to attach a bridge. A bridge is a partial set of false teeth that is anchored to other teeth or implants for stability. We typically make bridges, like crowns, of porcelain (ceramic) for both durability and good looks.

Implants
Implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium; they allow you to have artificial teeth fixed firmly in place — no worries about dentures slipping. We provide our patients with implants of extraordinary quality, fit and appearance, developed by a leading company that fuses periodontal knowledge with engineering prowess.

Root Canals
Root canals give you a welcome alternative to extracting decayed or damaged teeth. You’ll feel little or no discomfort as we treat the core of the tooth, the pulp area containing nerves and soft tissue. After treatment, if necessary, we’ll cover the tooth with an attractive crown. Your tooth — and smile — will be skillfully preserved.

Periodontal Treatments
Periodontal (gum) disease, if left untreated, can loosen every tooth. That’s why detecting danger signs early is one of our top priorities. In cases where gum disease has already started, we can remove plaque and tartar below your gumline using a small scaler or ultrasonic cleaner. Some people are more susceptible to gum disease than others; if you’re one of them, we’ll work together to reduce your risk.

Extractions
If it’s necessary to remove a tooth, we’ll work to keep you comfortable during the process. We’ll also discuss options for replacement such as dentures and implants. Whatever option you choose, our dentists will work to keep your smile looking healthy and natural when the process is finished.

Dentures
We provide patients with dentures that look as much like their own teeth as possible. Esthetics are key here, so we take extra time to make sure you’ll be pleased with the look and fit. We’ll also give you tips on wear and care that will help you make the adjustment smoothly.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Teeth Whitening
In search of a dazzling smile? We offer the popular Zoom! chairside system, which lightens teeth an average of 8 shades in about an hour. It’s a simple, safe procedure designed for busy lifestyles. Enjoy our spa-style amenities while you wait for the treatment to take effect.

Veneers
Veneers — thin, porcelain, tooth-colored shells — transform the appearance of unsightly teeth. We’ll bond the veneers permanently to the side of your teeth to create a look of natural beauty. Easy to take care of, lovely to view, they’re a popular enhancement.

Bonding
If your teeth have chips, cracks or stains that show when you smile, bonding is an ideal alternative. We blend composite resin materials to match the color of your teeth, then shape them on your teeth to fit your natural contours. Once the material hardens, you’ll have an easy-care, lovely smile.

Orthodontics
If our examination reveals you have a malocclusion (literally "bad bite," caused by factors such as crowded teeth or jaws out of alignment), we will recommend orthodontic treatment. The plan may be as simple as an Invisalign program (see below), or you may need a customized appliance and wearing schedule. Throughout, we’ll take the time to answer your questions, keep you informed, and examine you carefully to ensure the fastest progress.

Invisalign
We’re proud to offer our patients Invisalign® — the effective way to get straight teeth without braces. Invisalign is a series of invisible, removable, comfortable plastic aligners that allow you to straighten you teeth without changing your appearance. If you need orthodontic treatment, you may be a candidate for Invisalign.
